Lakehead University's Office of Community Engagement & Lifelong Learning (CELL) has been recognized with this year's OrilliaMatters Community Builders Award for Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame award celebrates an individual or group whose visionary efforts have had a profound and lasting impact on the community. Their significant contributions have enriched the fabric of the community, whether through the creation of transformative programs, initiatives or institutions (like festivals, parks or community centres).

Lakehead University's Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences (FHBS) is proud to announce the first of three new micro-credential courses designed to address critical areas of need in the health of Northern, rural, and remote regions.

Lakehead University’s Office of Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning is proud to offer its Ontario Benthos Biomonitoring Network (OBBN) Training Course in two formats: online and in-person.  This dual approach makes the training course accessible to a broader audience across Ontario and beyond.
