The Technological Design, Grades 9 and 10 Additional Qualification course will use hands-on, activity-based, project-oriented ideas to help participants learn new skills to teach and use the Design Process effectively in their classrooms. They will design and create curriculum along with assessment and evaluation tools in a collaborative effort with peers. Participants will learn the skills of designing ideas as well as skills to sketch the ideas for sharing information. This will progress to engineering drawings and then to CAD (Computer Aided Design). Through hands-on use, they will create models and prototypes while developing a safe environment for students to work in.
