Equitable and Inclusive Schools, Part 1

Description

Equitable and Inclusive school, Part 1 is designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to foster inclusive learning environments. It begins with an exploration of self-identity and biases, followed by an understanding of student identities and the creation of equitable instructional spaces. Participants will learn about equity in data, trauma-informed teaching practices, and culturally relevant pedagogical approaches. The course also covers equitable curriculum development, assessment/evaluation/feedback and the formulation of strategic priorities, offering a holistic approach to creating impactful educational policies and practices that benefit all students.

Registration for each semester opens six to eight weeks prior to the registration deadline.
