Addressing Anti-Black Racism To Change Pedagogy & Practice, Specialist

Description

Addressing Anti-Black Racism to Change Pedagogy and Practice, Specialist, will sharpen the professional focus on educators’ collective responsibility to honour, affirm and reimagine futures centred around African, Afro-Caribbean and Black learner achievement and excellence. The goal of this course is to collaboratively cultivate emancipatory leadership practices and advance the scholarship of teaching by fostering cultures of reflection and inquiry. This course is designed to equip participants with a cohesive understanding of the leadership competencies requisite for addressing anti-Black racism in pedagogy and practice.

*Please note, OCT will recognize this qualification as Anti-Black Racism, Specialist on a successful candidate's certification. We use the longer subtitle of the course as our title because it is a more accurate description of the course.
