OMNP - Summer Camp 2025
Do you remember those days as a child attending nature camp learning about nature, exploring new areas with your friends and going over the activities of the day with your friends around the campfire at night? It’s time to return to our youth and to reconnect with nature in this way!
Join The Office of Community Engagement & Lifelong Learning along with Master Naturalist, Bob Bowles, for a summer camp version of our Ontario Master Naturalist Program at Red Bay Lodge on the Bruce Peninsula! Through exploring Alvars, Fins, Wetlands, and the Escarpment, special focus will be on orchids, ferns, birds, sedges, mosses and lichens on the Bruce Peninsula.
The Ontario Master Naturalist Certificate Program is aimed at naturalists and those dedicated to environmental stewardship, empowering them to learn and share knowledge of the natural world, and engage as stewards of their local ecosystems and resources.
Participants will receive a certificate at the end of our camp week!
When: July 7-11, 2025
Where: Red Bay Lodge, Bruce Peninsula
Cost: $699 + HST (Lodging/Food plan extra as per registration page)

Participants must be 18+ or accompanied by a parent or guardian for rooming and participation in all programming.
Please note the following additional fees for the Summer Camp at Red Bay Lodge (4 night group rate, includes Breakfast, Lunch & and Dinner):
- Single Occupancy - $225 per person per night (+ HST and Municipal Accommodation Tax)
- Double Occupancy - $163 per person per night (+ HST and Municipal Accommodation Tax)
Course withdrawals more than two weeks before the start of the course will receive a full refund, less a $50 non-refundable administration fee. Two weeks before the course begins, learners will be refunded 50% less the $50 non-refundable administration fee. Once the course starts, learners will receive no refund. Red Bay Lodge Cancellation Policy: 48 hour notice for guests to cancel with no charge.
