Ontario Youth Naturalist Program
Description
The Ontario Youth Naturalist Program encourages youth to broaden their knowledge of the natural world by learning about real-world environmental issues including wetlands, invasive species, agriculture, and more through hands-on experience. High school learners are introduced to Lakehead University’s Ontario Naturalist Program and learn from experts in the field. The program is led by Dave Hawke, an ecologist and environmental educator.
