The Office of Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning is pleased to introduce Third Age Learning Lakehead (TALL). Designed to provide creative and thought-provoking educational opportunities to adult learners in Orillia, Thunder Bay, and the surrounding area.
In the TALL Lecture Series, Stop the Clock! we will explore the environmental impacts of current human habits and practices, the potential solutions in place or in development, barriers to solutions, and our trajectory.
In this wine and cheese social and lecture with Dr. Sandra Jeppesen, we will explore the current use of free speech and its impact on public debate, democracy, and the cultivation of authoritarian populism in the US - and potentially Canada.
