I am very pleased to be sending you this greeting as I begin my term as President and Vice-Chancellor of Lakehead University. It is a great privilege to return to Lakehead – where I have spent most of my career – to take on this role, and I am eager to get to work with all of you as we face the challenges and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.

It is with a mix of emotions that I write this last communication to you before I complete my time as President and Vice-Chancellor of Lakehead University on June 30.
(Thunder Bay), (Orillia) Lakehead University was included in the top 200 global universities in the Times Higher Education 2023 Impact Rankings, the fourth year that Lakehead has been recognized as a leading university for its work advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
