Lifelong Learning

Lifelong learning is a form of self-initiated education that is focused on personal development, and pursuing special interests, and passions.

Lakehead University offers innovative programs, continuous learning courses, and community lectures in support of the interests and needs of our communities.

The Ontario Master Naturalist Workshops (OMNW) offer a wide variety of topics to broaden your knowledge and expertise of the natural world. Workshop topics include an introduction to all of the species of Ontario dragonflies and damselflies, identifying fish families and species, sedge habitats, mammal tracking, fungi identification, and more.
